Woburn Sculpture Gallery Wedding Photography - Katie & Ciaran
A little more summer wedding loveliness for you in the form of Katie and Ciaran's spectacularly, wonderful day in Woburn. Katie and Ciaran brought the Dubai sunshine and warmth with them as they returned home to Woburn for their big day. St Mary's Church, Woburn proved a fitting backdrop for the wedding ceremony. Built in the late 19th century, it's rather modest exterior belies it "cathedralesque" interior with it's vaulted ceiling and slender pillars - it really is a special place for a wedding ceremony. Then on to the Sculpture Gallery for the reception, guests basking in the summer sunshine on the terrace and enjoying the beautifully manicured gardens. Katie and Ciaran were wonderful to work with, their relaxed and fun approach to the day reflected in their wedding images. Here's a selection of my favourites.
It was a corker of a day back in July when I returned to Fawsley Hall for Claire and Terry's big day. The very personal ceremony was undertaken by Independent Celebrant Judy Mansfield of Cherish Ceremonies with musical accompaniment by the Ariella Strings Quartet. A great time had by all with lots of fun, food and frolics ! Claire and Terry were great to work with, enjoying their day to the MAX - thanks for inviting me along to capture those moments for you - here's a selection of my favourites from the day.
Well, Ive been neglecting my blog terribly over the past couple of months - all due to a very busy summer period. It's now about time that I revisit some of my lovely summer weddings and share their sunny goodness with you ! First on my list was Joanna and Alex's wonderfully intimate day back in July. Two new venues for me on this occasion, St Lawrence in Towcester and the Betsy Wynne at Swanbourne. The Betsy Wynne is a great pub nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside and it was a lovely location for an intimate gathering such as Joanna and Alex's reception. The weather god's smiled on us again and we were able to take a walk in the nearby fields for a spot of rural bridal portraiture !! - being very organised, Jo had some plastic pumps and parasol at the ready should they be needed - fortunately neither saw the light of day. I would thoroughly recommend the Betsy Wynne if you're looking for something a little different for your wedding reception, but then again, I've always fancied the idea of having exclusive use of a pub for the day ! Here's a small selection of images taken on the day, hopefully they give you a feel for the love and affection Jo and Alex have for each other and the fun time they had with family and friends. Enjoy.
