Mulberry House Wedding Photography - Leanne and Paul
I had the pleasure of returning to the beautifully intimate, Mulberry House in Essex for the recent wedding of Leanne and Paul. It was another glorious day for us, sunshine all the way giving the happy couple and guests the chance to explore the lovely grounds and soak up some vitamin D (along with a couple of cheeky glasses of bubbly!). Dating back to 1767, Mulberry House is a beautiful location, formally a rectory it is now privately owned. Well worth looking at if you're considering an intimate location for a wedding in the Ongar area. Leanne and Paul had a wonderful day and were a super couple to work with. I have just received the following message from the happy couple - "Dear David, we have just looked through the wedding photos for the tenth time, they really are amazing. Thank you so much for your hard work, you really have caught all the emotion and memories of the day perfectly. We can't stop looking at them and can't wait to start showing friends and family. We wish we could do it all again. So once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. "
Here's a selection of images from the day.
It was lovely to meet up with Vicki and Stuart ahead of their wedding at Horwood House. This is a venue I haven't been to for many years so it was a great opportunity for us to explore the house and gardens. Despite rushing during work, they were both extremely relaxed and easy to work with - I'm very much looking forward to returning for the wedding in August, in the meantime - here are a few images from the shoot.
I am pleased to introduce a new range of Fine Art Print Flush Mount Albums to my extensive range of product options. With its subtly rounded corners, delicate textured cotton paper and lay flat page design exudes style and sophistication. All fine art albums are beautifully finished with unique rounded corners, several sumptuous leather or linen cover options and debossing. Feel free to get in touch for more information. The amazing wedding featured in this sample is from Louise and Gavin's big day at Holdenby House - more images from the wedding available here. Prices for this stunning album start at £650 for a 10x10" album with 20 double page spreads.
I am pleased to announce that fine art paper options are now available with my matted albums. The fine art paper is 100% cotton rag content and is acid free and therefore suitable for archival purposes. Whilst it's difficult to see in the images posted here, the paper has a wonderful texture and viewing images professionally printed on fine art paper becomes a much more enjoyable and tactile experience - something simply lacking in standard photo papers. The fine art papers are available as an optional extra on all traditional matted albums. Feel free to get in touch and ask for more details.
I have pleasure publishing a more complete edit of Katie and Andrew's spectacular wedding day at Brocket Hall. Once again, the weather gods were looking down on us with the sun beginning to show itself as I drove over the Palladian Bridge and into Brocket Hall's enchanting grounds. Katie had arrived earlier and pre wedding preparations were in full swing, a jovial and lighthearted mood filling the air. The relaxed and fun approach to the wedding day continued throughout with family and friends enjoying the use of many of Brocket Hall's stunning reception rooms. Andy and his groomsmen were able to relax with a couple of frames of snooker prior to the ceremony. After the wedding we were able to commandeer a couple of golf buggies and speed our way back down to the bridge for a few portraits, returning just in time for the wedding breakfast in the magnificent Great Hall. A sparkler procession and fireworks kicked off the evening celebrations with dancing into the wee small hours. Once you have looked over Katie and Andy's images why not take a look at some other Brocket Hall weddings here.
It is always gratifying to be referred by previous clients to potential new ones. This was the case with James and Becky. I had the pleasure of photographing James' brother Andy's wedding to Carly a few years ago (where does the time go !?) and when James and Becky booked my services I knew it was going to be a wonderful day, I wasn't to be disappointed - two lovely families coming together to enjoy an amazing day at Rushton Hall. We had all hoped for a good day's weather but we were all taken aback by how warm this early April day turned out to be. Guests were able to soak up the sun and enjoy the bubbly and live music in the courtyard, followed by a magnificent wedding breakfast in the Great Hall. All in all, a wonderful day - make sure to check out Becky and James' photo documentary, a fusion of still images and narrative from the day. In the meantime, here are a few of my favourite images.
