Fawsley Hall Wedding Photography - Emma & Dan
I was back at my second home (Fawsley Hall) for the wedding of Emma and Dan a few weeks ago. The weather had threatened however we were saved from too much of the wet stuff and remained dry for most of the day. Even a little precipitation wasn't going to dampen the spirits of Emma, Dan and their family and friends. It was a wonderfully joyous occasion with a thunderous finale in the form of Emma and Dan's daughter leading her troupe of Irish Dancers for a spectacular show late in the evening. Here's a quick selection from the day.
Fawsley Hall is one of my favourite locations and I'm very lucky to work there on a regular basis. Whatever the season, Fawsley Hall delivers - great ambiance, stunning architecture, perfectly manicured gardens and first class customer service. I thought it would be nice to bring together just a small selection of "Fawsley Favourites" for you.
A welcome return to Fawsley Hall for me back at the end of July for the wedding of Jodie and Neil. I met up with Jodie at her parents house for a little prep photography and then hot footed it up to Fawsley Hall to meet up with the chaps prior to the ceremony. I think I "hot footed" a little too quickly, realising as I approached the gates to Fawsley Hall that I had left one of my favourite lenses on the sofa back at mum and dad's house - DOH, or words to that effect ! Thanks to Jodie for being so on the ball and noticing it before she left - I carry several lenses with me to a wedding and would have been perfectly able to carry on without it but it was welcomed back with open arms just prior to the ceremony ! We had expected rain during the day but the weather held off until the early evening which allowed us a chance to spend some time in the beautifully manicured gardens after the ceremony. Jodie and Neil had requested my all day wedding photography coverage - this provides coverage at least 2 hours before the wedding ceremony until 20/30 minutes after the first dance. So it was great to be able to cover their speeches and first dance. Here's a selection of images taken during the course of the day, hope you enjoy looking over them.
I thought I would post a few images of the latest stylish album package to leave my studios for a new home. Sahira and Paul opted for a classically styled, matted album and a contemporary, coffee table style picture book. Handcrafted with a sumptuous leather cover, crisp white pages and mounts the matted album has a classic style with a quality finish. The picture book is a wonderful addition to the album package and contains 160 images, simple design of one image per page with a crisp white background. All the picture book albums come with a gloss picture cover. Linen covers will be available very shortly.
It was a pleasure to return to Fanhams Hall in Ware for the wedding of Hayley and Dan a few weeks ago. Fanhams Hall provided a fitting backdrop for what was a wonderful day, full of emotion, tears, laughter and merriment. Hayley and Dan had opted for my all day coverage which meant an early start for hair, make up and bride/groom preparation. I always like the opportunity to capture some images prior to the ceremony, for me it's very much about telling the story of the day - particularly if you're considering an album to illustrate your imagery. Both Hayley and Dan had a wonderful day and partied well into the night as you'll see from a selection of images below. Upon viewing their images on line last night I received some wonderful feedback from Hayley ... "I've just been looking through the photographs and I'm speechless ! You are without doubt the best, you captured every single special moment in the most amazing way - we can't thank you enough, they are fabulous and we love them!". Thanks Hayley and Dan I've never been called 'The Best" but I'll willingly accept the title !!
