Rushton Hall Wedding Photography - Becky and Peter
It was a real pleasure to return to the wonderful Rushton Hall for Becky and Peter's wedding. It was a really emotional day for all concerned with Becky and Peter's two children, Charlotte and Harry playing very important roles throughout the day. Fortunately, the weather god's were looking down on us as guests enjoyed drinks in the courtyard while I spent a little time with the happy couple in the stunning grounds. I always like to spend at least 10 minutes with the bride and groom for some photographs in and around the reception grounds,as you can see from Becky and Peter's images, its a great time for the new married couple to spend some quality time with each other prior to the wedding breakfast - they were enjoying the occasion so much I don't even think they knew I was there ! (always the best feedback I can get from my clients). Here's a selection of my favourites from the day.
I thought I would share this image from yesterday’s wedding at Rushton Hall where Becky and Peter tied the knot with close family and friends including their two children Charlotte and Harry. This lovely candid moment captures Charlotte looking up at her mummy as the final adjustments are being made to her dress just prior to the wedding ceremony. From a compositional point of view having Charlotte on the third would perhaps have added more impact, but I love everything about this image and its relevance to Peter and Becky on their wedding day. Moments like this can’t be choreographed and reinforce why I love wedding photography so much.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of visiting the Stationers Hall in the City of London for Elinor and Elliot's spectacular wedding. Dating back to 1673 the Stationers Hall is the HQ for the The Worshipful Company of Stationers' and Newspaper Makers. It's wonderful oak paneled, liveried rooms were a fitting backdrop for Elinor and Elliot's big day and the courtyard was a peaceful haven in the centre of the city within which guests could mingle and chat in the warm June sunshine. Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.
