More kind words .... Zoe and Glen at Highgate House
Just a quick word of congrats to Natlie and Alastair who celebrated their wedding on a beautiful autumnal day at Dodmoor House. Thanks also to Rohanna and the team who made me feel very welcome and ran the day perfectly for the happy couple.
Just taken delivery of two beautiful albums from Jorgensen Albums Australia. Illustrated here we have a stunning 14x11in matted art album with miniature replica. I love the crisp, contemporary look of the square spine and hard cover of the art album. It's chic, urban look would grace any coffee table and the crisp, white matts bring both colour and black and white imagery to life. The miniature replica albums are great for parents albums or gifts. Each album comes as standard with 24 sides but can be increased in size - I only ever charge for each additional page, not for every additional image. Each album is bespoke, matts are computer cut to work with your imagery and not squeezed into a pre-designed layout. Art albums are used for all my matted album packages.
I've been meaning to share a selection of my favourite images from Lou and Dave's blisteringly hot wedding day back in September. I have been so busy shooting it's left little time for blogging but I hope to catch up over the next couple of weeks or so. The William Cecil is a lovely, intimate location for a wedding at any time of the year, but it was looking particularly resplendent on this occasion. Louisa and Dave were a great couple to work for as apart from a few formal groups they let me go about my work with little or no direction, as a result the images have a wonderfully natural feel to them. Here's a selection for you.
A little while ago, I spent an amazing day with the family and friends of Pauline and Ping at their wedding at the Oakwood House Hotel and Chinese Banquet at the Yi-Ban, London Regatta Centre. The day started early with Ping and the boys being subjected to several amusing (and on occasion - painful!) door games. Having past the test with flying colours Ping and Pauline offered thanks to their family in the form of a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony after which they were married in a civil ceremony at the hotel, complete with Dragon Boat Racing Team guard of Honour. After high tea, we all travelled up to the London Docklands for a magnificent Chinese banquet at the Yi-Ban restaurant. Here are just a handful of my favourite images from the day, hopefully they give you a good feel for the wonderful time Pauline and Ping had with their family and friends.
Here are selection of favourites from Clare and John's recent nuptials at St Mary's Launton and the Tally Ho in Bicester. It was an emotional day for all concerned as Clare's mum had been taken very ill a couple of months before the wedding but had managed to leave hospital to see Clare tie the knot with John and attend the wedding reception later on. I was saddened to hear the news that Clare's mum passed away a couple of weeks ago and my thought's go out to her and John at this time. Hopefully in time they will be able to reflect on what was a lovely day for her mum and the rest of the family.
More and more of my digital files clients are opting for something tangible along with their high resolution files. The Picture Book is a great idea if you don't necessarily want to opt for a matted or flush mounted wedding album but want something to display your favourite images. This example of a 14x11in Picture Book has 80 double page spreads, accommodating 160 images and is available for £295, duplicate copies can be ordered at the same time for the reduced rate of £195.
I had a lovely thank you card and gift from Heather and Colin earlier this week. Receiving such positive feedback gives me a real thrill - forget about your big bonuses, this means more. Thanks again guys.
