Castle Ashby Wedding Photography - Lisa & Nick
It was a case of dodging heavy showers once again this summer as I returned to Castle Ashby House for the wedding of Lisa and Nick. Fortunately for all of us, the weather had little impact on what was a wonderful occasion. I love the photographic opportunities Castle Ashby has to offer and regardless of the weather it always looks outstanding. The rain showers stayed away until the afternoon so Lisa was able to walk with her father from the house to the beautiful church of St Mary Magdalene set in the grounds of the estate. Drinks and canapes were served in the recently extended marquee prior to the wedding breakfast. Evening entertainment came in the form of some wonderful fireworks supplied by Fantastic Fireworks and then two great sets from the ultimate party band The Catch. Here are a few of my favourites from the day.
Hannah and Ian are holding their wedding reception at Kelmarsh Hall in October, so it was lovely to meet up with them for a pre-wedding shoot around the grounds. Kelmarsh looks stunning at this time of year, with the golden colours of Autumn beginning to appear. Both Ian and Hannah were great fun to work with and very relaxed in front of the camera so I'm very much looking forward to seeing them in October to capture their wedding. Here are a few of my favourites from the shoot.
A chic, urban collection, Art Album pages are bound to give the collection a sharp, clean cut appearance while allowing the pages to lie flat. Standard features include an unpadded cover with square spine and thick, core board matts available in either crisp clean white or elegant black with white bevel around the apertures. The mats that frame your lab produced prints are computer cut, giving each album a bespoke appearance. Various cover options are available.
For all my matted wedding albums I use Jorgensen Albums of Australia exclusively. They are beautifully hand-crafted, bespoke items which last a lifetime. In addition to wonderful wedding albums, I can also supply mini replica or bespoke designed albums made to the same exacting standards. Please get in touch if you are interested in ordering a replica of your wedding album or perhaps in me designing a completely new album for you.
I recently had a great day working with Suzie and Kit at their vintage inspired wedding at Dodmoor House, Northamptonshire. As you can see, a great deal of thought and consideration had been put into every element of the day, from the bunting to the crockery and teapots used to serve high tea for all their guests. A visit later in the day by "Betty" The Vintage Scoops ice cream van also went down a treat as did the barbeque served outside on the terrace at Dodmoor. Both Suzie and Kit are involved in photography so the pressure was on to produce some great results for them, as you can see from the lovely card received a few days after the wedding - I seem to have ticked all the necessary boxes for them. Here are just a few images taken on the day.
