Nicki and Craig - Photography at Fawsley Hall
I recently had the pleasure of meeting up again with Nicki and Craig who are to be married at one of my favourite locations - Fawsley Hall in just a few short weeks time. The wedding ceremony will be held at the church of St Mary the Virgin set in the Knightley Estate which is only a short walk from Fawsley (you will see it in the background of some of the shots below). Both Nicki and Craig were a pleasure to work with and very relaxed in front of the camera, I'm looking forward to their wedding day immensely. Here are a few of my favourite images from the pre-wedding shoot.
I'm a huge fan of black and white photography and at least 50% of all my finished albums contain black and white imagery. .. perhaps one day a client will opt for 100% (fingers crossed). However, sometimes light and colour work in harmony and one of those occasions arose at Louise and Owen's wedding ceremony this weekend at the stunning 14th century church of St Peter & St Paul in Olney. As a wedding photographer you dream of opportunities like this, you just have to make sure you're in the right place at the right time when they come around.
You may have seen the sneak peek (light) version of Olivia and Chris' wedding at Fizwilliam College, Cambridge a couple of weeks ago. Here's the full fat version for your delectation. Olivia and Chris had a great day with family and friends and were a joy to work with. Their wedding was organised wonderfully (as usual) by their wedding planner Alice Sibley
The link contains a trailer put together by Mark Gibson of Moving Presentations based in Sydney. I was lucky enough to work with Mark and Troy at Tara and Sean's wedding in Lake Como. Mark won an Australian Video Producers Association award for this short film - Mark, hope you don't mind showing this. Anyone out there looking for world class wedding cinematographers - look no further than Mark and Troy, as long as you can afford to pay their travel expenses !

I've been meaning to post this to my blog for a while. It illustrates a new lay flat coffee table book that I've had produced. The content is very close to my heart, it illustrates some of my favourite images of my daughter Grace from the day she was born to her first day at school. I have no doubt there will be several more volumes over the coming years. Hope you enjoy.
If any of you out there are looking for something "outside of the box" when it comes to your wedding videography, perhaps take a look at this. One word of warning however, if you are getting married at your local church I suggest you give the rector/vicar some word of warning just in case they take issue with it ! Joya and Emre clearly didn't have any of these problems to worry about , the result: an amazing music video, featuring the entire wedding party, set to the Black Eyed Peas' "The Time (Dirty Bit)." With the groom in the role of will.i.am, and the bride standing in for Fergie, the party doubles as a dirty dancing chorus for the nuptials.

You may have seen the sneak peek images from Carly and Andrew's wedding a couple of weeks ago. The edit of the wedding is now complete and Carly and Andrew have the tough job of selecting their favourite images for their Jorgensen Panoramic wedding album. Their wedding at Fawsley Hall was a great affair, the weather was beautiful, Carly and Andrew were great to work with and all their guests had a wonderful time. Hopefully the images below illustrate what a wonderful day Carly and Andrew had. I'm looking forward to returning to Fawsley mid June to photography Craig and Nicki's wedding - I'm sure they will have an equally great day.
On Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting up with Louise and Owen for a chat about their forthcoming wedding which takes place at the Church of St Peter & St Paul, Olney and wedding reception at Moreteyne Manor. It was a lovely sunny day (if a little windy) and we had the chance for a few pre-wedding photographs and a walk in a nearby meadow. Here's a little selection of images from the shoot.
