Suffolk Wedding Photographer - Charlotte and George
It was a stunning summers day for Charlotte and George’s big day in the sleepy suffolk village of Helions Bumpstead. It was the archetypical english country wedding with Charlotte and her father enjoying a walk to the nearby church and a reception back at home with incredible canapes (check out the pictures), lots of bunting and bubbly with an incredible marquee with stunning floral details. Hay bales, rugs and a fire pit kept guest warm when the sun went down. A perfect day, congrats to the both of you !! Here’s just a taster for you.
It was great to meet up with Charlotte and George ahead of their wedding in a couple of weeks time. The whole occasion will have a beautiful country flavour to it, with Charlotte walking to the local church with her father and returning with her groom George to Charlotte's parents house for the reception which will be awash with hay bales, fairy lights and bunting. Very much looking forward to capturing their day for them. Here's a shot taken with the Fuji XT1 and the stunning 56mm f1/2 in the fields adjacent to Charlottes house. Here's hoping the farmer holds back on the harvest for a couple more weeks.
Candid, Creative and Timeless Wedding Photography
Hi and thank you for stopping by and having a look around. There are lots of wedding photographers out there and I appreciate you taking the time to view my work.
As a natural wedding photographer my aim is to capture your wedding day in an authentic and beautiful manner. Capturing the essence of your wedding day in an unobtrusive, observational , non-directorial way. I’m not into faddy post processing techniques and ‘instagramesque’ effects that will quickly date your images. My candid approach produces natural and honest story-telling wedding photography that will look as good in 50 years as it does today.
I’m passionate about creating beautiful work for my clients, offering exceptional levels of customer service and products. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life – make sure you chose a professional to capture those moments for you. 10 hours coverage of your wedding day with edited, high resolution files costs only £1495. I'm still taking bookings for 2019 and 2020 but dates are going quickly so don't hang around !
I’m based in the Midlands which makes it perfect for me to cover weddings all across the UK. I also take on overseas commissions so if you are getting married abroad please consider getting a bespoke overseas photography package for your wedding.
Before you go any further, why not take a look over this beautiful wedding film featuring a gorgeous countryside marquee wedding. This film reflects the style in which I capture all my weddings.
I like to let the day flow naturally, capturing the essence of your wedding day in a relaxed and unobtrusive way.
As a natural wedding photographer I won't ask you to pose or say 'cheese' - I just want you to enjoy your day to the full and embrace every moment, this way you'll not only have an amazing experience but I will provide you with a set of images that reflect the 'real' you and how you 'really' felt on one of the most important and memorable days of your life - taking you back to those moments for years to come.

We were so happy we chose David to be our wedding photographer. He was very professional, friendly and reliable (he put us at ease, could organise a crowd and had spares of everything!) and we felt like we were in great hands all day. David took so many fabulous photos and even went to the venue earlier in the day to take some shots for us, which was such a surprise when we got to see our pictures after the wedding. Our final wedding album is an incredible momento of our big day; thanks David!
