When can I view my images online?
It usually takes between 2 to 3 weeks to complete the necessary work on your
images so that they are ready for your proof wedding album. As soon as you are
in receipt of your album they will be uploaded to your own
personal proofing area on the David Hughes Photography web site. Cards are left at your reception
venue informing your guests that your images will be available online within 3
weeks.
How many pictures will I see in my proof albums?
Throughout the course of the day we can shoot well over 1000 images, however we
like to narrow this down to approximately 250/300 great images for your proof
wedding album.
What is the maximum number of photographs I can have in my album?
This depends on the option you take. Option one is a smaller wedding album in
dimension and therefore can accommodate fewer images than option two.
David Hughes Photography recommends:
Option One, approx 60 photographs
Option Two, approx 90-100 photographs
There is no limit however, as both wedding albums can be extended.
Do you photograph more than one wedding a day?
No, the coverage we offer dictates that only one wedding can be photographed in
any one day. We often photograph two weddings during a weekend, but we never
exceed one appointment per day.
What type of camera do you use?
David Hughes Photography only use professional digital SLR cameras. The 12
mega-pixel Canon EOS 1ds coupled with top quality L series lenses means that we
are able to photograph in very challenging conditions without compromise. Back
up flash units, bodies and lenses are always onboard along with portable storage
devices, so there is never any risk of losing your images.
How can parents order their albums?
All the images you select for your wedding album plus others that may be of
interest to friends and family are available for viewing on the internet. We
suggest your parents make a note of the print reference numbers and contact us
directly. We can then design a photo album and provide a proof copy for their
approval.
How long will our photographs last?
We use premium photographic printing materials and we can predict no noticeable
change for at least 70 years. We will only use archival prints for your wedding
album and do not use inkjet materials for any of your album prints.
