David Hughes – Photographer

I’m David and thank you for visiting my website and for your interest in my photography.

I am a full time professional photographer specialising in wedding photography.  I have shot hundreds of weddings since turning pro 10 years ago. Based in the midlands, I photograph weddings all over the UK and overseas. Prior to forming my business I spent 15 years with BP Oil in a variety of senior management roles.  As an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing I manage my business with an innovative and creative approach with a strong focus on quality photography and exceptional levels of customer service.

Put simply, I love my job.  I’m very much a people person and consider it an honour that my clients choose me to capture one of the most important days of their lives.

Every wedding is special and unique – whether you’re planning an intimate wedding in your local church, a civil service at a nearby stately home or a lavish affair overseas, I will provide you with timeless, elegant imagery and classic yet contemporary wedding albums within which you can cherish your memories for a lifetime.

I have developed my particular photographic style over many years. I now use small, unobtrusive, mirrorless camera’s that don’t scream “WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER!”. This allows me to blend in on the day and go relatively unnoticed. Capturing those candid moments that you will cherish and will have little recollection of on the day.

I describe my style as a fusion of documentary and fine art. Natural, unobtrusive and observational. I like to capture you day as it happens with little formality and orchestration. I do however appreciate the need to have elements of both formal and informal photography during your wedding day and I always like us to meet up prior to the wedding to discuss your specific requirements.

To me the joy of photography is capturing in a split second, an unrepeatable moment that you can look back on forever.

Please feel free to get in touch and we can have a no obligation, chat about your wedding plans.

Thanks again for visiting.
